Point Dume is a fickle but powerful right-hand point break that fires on clean S swells wrapping around the prominent headland. The wave is hollow, fast, and ledgy, holding up to 16+ feet. Access requires a 20-minute hike, and localism has been reported. When conditions align, it produces some of the longest, most powerful rights on the Malibu coast — but those conditions are rare.
