Also known as Anglin's Pier in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Commercial Pier is considered one of the best surf spots in the Fort Lauderdale area — one of the few to fully recover from beach renourishment. Breaks on both sides of the pier, producing steep, fun sections. The site of annual ESA surf contests. Anglin's Reef, a nearshore artificial reef, lies just offshore adding bottom structure.
